Wing Haven

I am the Development & Engagement Manager at Wing Haven, a public garden in Charlotte, North Carolina. I manage development, which includes membership, seasonal events and fundraisers, grant-writing, and sponsorships. I also manage community outreach and collaborations.

Freelance

Social Media: I am currently a freelance social media specialist and copywriter for Surfers for Strays, a Mexico-based animal welfare organization. I routinely update animal biographies and create content for the organization's Instagram and Facebook pages.
Copy Editing: I spent several months as a Quality Team Producer for Dotdash Meredith, where I copy edited existing articles for publications including Better Homes & Gardens and Southern Living.

Carl Bloom Associates: I was formerly a full-time Associate Account Executive at Carl Bloom Associates, a direct marketing and fundraising firm. I lead and supported fundraising campaigns for a variety of nonprofit clients across the country. I worked with library foundations, public media stations, health organizations, environmental organizations, animal welfare groups, and local Habitat for Humanity chapters.
